Addressing urgent, unmet needs in women’s pelvic health, Sylvia Health has closed a $648K pre-seed funding round. The startup, which is developing a clinically validated device for rectocele prolapse, secured the investment from BioInnovation Institute (BII).
Pelvic organ prolapse affects more than 1 in 12 women, often leaving limited options between observation and surgery. Sylvia Health aims to provide practical, scalable solutions designed for daily comfort, confidence, and control, with a clinical investigation currently underway in Denmark for its initial product.
