Leveraging cutting-edge zinc-air battery technology, the company has developed a modular system designed to store and deliver energy with remarkable efficiency. By converting excess summer energy into metallic zinc—with an impressive energy density of 6000 Wh/l—the system ensures a consistent and reliable power supply during monsoon and winter months, significantly minimizing renewable energy curtailment.

This fresh infusion of capital will empower Sthyr Energy to scale up production of its 200 kWh, 10 kW battery modules and 10 kW zinc regeneration units, laying the groundwork for a modular solution that is scalable to gigawatt-hour capacities. With the support and guidance of technology advisor Prof. Aravind Kumar Chandiran from IIT Madras and market advisor Mr. Shaaji John from Ohmium, the company is uniquely positioned to refine its offerings, protect its intellectual assets through multiple patents, and accelerate market adoption.
