The race to produce the rarest and most critical materials on Earth just got a boost, as StandardX, a company developing the world's first isotope refinery, announced it has closed a $13.4M Seed round. This significant capital injection will fuel the development of its proprietary machine, designed to produce a full portfolio of isotopes at scale and closer to where they're needed.
The round drew investment from a diverse group of backers, including Vsquared Ventures, East X Ventures, FirstMinute Capital, UK Innovation and Science Seed Fund (UKI2S), Brevan Howard Macro Venture, and Geometry, signaling strong confidence in StandardX's innovative approach to a foundational materials challenge.
