Stand, a homeowners insurance startup, has raised $70.0M in Series C funding.
The round drew backing from Saga Ventures, Lowercarbon, Eclipse, Equal Ventures, Inspired Capital, NeoTribe, and Jackson Square Ventures. Stand is building a homeowners insurer around deterministic physics-AI models, using them to give homeowners science-based reasons to harden their properties against catastrophic risk - and, in turn, to incentivize mitigation.
