Split Pay has raised $25.0M in Series A funding to build out an AI-powered payment network that syncs large bills with your paycheck.
The company splits rent, mortgage, and auto payments into installments timed to income, aiming to help consumers avoid late fees and the monthly squeeze. Khosla Ventures, Thrive Capital, and Max Levchin backed the round. Split Pay uses proprietary AI models for underwriting and fraud detection, drawing on raw transaction data to advance funds dynamically - a pitch that leans on cash-flow insight rather than credit scores.
