The burgeoning field of perovskite solar cell manufacturing just got a boost, as Sofab Inks announced it has closed a $6.0M seed funding round. The chemical manufacturer, a 2022 spin-out from the University of Louisville's Conn Center for Renewable Energy Research, specializes in advanced inks designed to improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of next-generation solar cells.
Sofab Inks' products emphasize cost advantages and enhanced process flexibility, aiming to accelerate the decarbonization of electrification by improving solar cell bankability and quality control standards.
