Skybound Medtech, a company building Texas鈥檚 first large-scale, dual-use space-medical technologies, has secured $1.3M in Seed funding. The capital will fuel its ambitious mission to develop the medical infrastructure essential for keeping humans healthy during long-duration spaceflight, while simultaneously delivering high-value clinical and defense applications on Earth.
The company aims to create transformative medical devices, digital-health platforms, and manufacturing capabilities, establishing a new industrial engine for Houston and the State of Texas. This effort directly supports the state's role as a national hub for human spaceflight and contributes to its broader aerospace and life-science ecosystem.
