Shepherd Center Secures $200K to Advance Premier Rehabilitation & Patient Care in Atlanta

Shepherd Center is excited to announce a successful funding round, raising $200,000 to further enhance our mission of delivering top-tier rehabilitative care in Atlanta, Georgia.

As a private, not-for-profit hospital founded in 1975, we have dedicated decades to advancing treatment, research, and rehabilitation for individuals facing spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, chronic pain, and other neuromuscular conditions.

Ranked by U.S.

News & World Report among the top 10 rehabilitation hospitals in the nation, our 152-bed facility serves approximately 750 inpatients, 300 day program patients, and more than 7,100 outpatients each year.

This outstanding accomplishment is a testament to the unwavering commitment of our staff, the support from generous donors, and the trust placed in our Level 1 Rehabilitation® services, which are on par with state and national designations for advanced trauma centers.

The infusion of $200,000 will be strategically allocated to bolster our clinical research initiatives and to expand our rehabilitation programs.

Our goal is to leverage these funds to invest in cutting-edge technologies and specialized training for our medical teams, ensuring that our patients continue to experience recovery outcomes that exceed national averages.
