India's internet revolution is getting a boost, as ShareChat, the social media platform built for Indic languages, has closed a $4.0M Series A funding round. The investment comes from Lightspeed India Partners and Prime Venture Partners.
ShareChat, which boasts 160 million monthly active users and also runs the popular short video platform Moj, is focused on providing a meaningful social experience for the next billion users in India, allowing them to share opinions and connect in their preferred language.
