Scooby’s Club has pulled in $250K in pre-seed funding, a bet that dog owners will pay for daycares run with the polish of a boutique hotel. TDV Partners wrote the check.
The startup is building professionally managed, neighborhood daycares aimed at young professionals who treat their dogs like kids-but don’t have time to walk them between meetings or a night out. The pitch is less “kennel” and more “structured care for the modern pawrent,” a niche that’s quietly growing as remote work fades and office life returns. The fresh capital gives Scooby’s Club runway to prove the model works beyond a single location.
