A fresh take on the desktop email client has just landed $3.2M in seed capital. Scape, which aims to transform the inbox into a dedicated workspace, announced the funding round with backing from prominent names like Y Combinator, General Catalyst, and FundersClub.
The investment also drew support from individual operators hailing from companies such as OpenAI, Google, Meta, Ramp, Lovable, and Legora. Scape is purpose-built for where work actually happens: your email, suggesting a deeper integration of tasks and communication within the familiar inbox environment.
