Savannah State University, Georgia's inaugural public historically black college or university, has received a $100K grant. The funding marks a notable infusion for the institution, which also holds the distinction of being the first higher learning establishment in the city of Savannah.
Established in 1890, Savannah State offers students a wide array of academic choices. Its curriculum spans 30 undergraduate and five graduate programs, organized across four distinct colleges: Business Administration, Education, Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, and Sciences and Technology.
