Ensuring robots behave safely around people just got a significant boost. SafeWorld, a company developing robot safety testing and simulation software, has closed a $12.2M Seed round to advance its platform.
The capital infusion, led by a diverse group of investors including Shine Capital, Andreessen Horowitz Speedrun, and BoxGroup, will support SafeWorld's mission to help enterprises deploy autonomy responsibly. Its software complements physical testing with scalable simulation, allowing teams to evaluate how robots perform in dangerous, rare, and unexpected situations.
