India鈥檚 Safebox has raised $1.1M in a seed round backed by Sekhar Garisa, a bet on the growing need for families to keep their financial lives in order-and out of the dark.
The Mumbai-based platform, regulated by SEBI and built on the RBI鈥檚 Account Aggregator framework, consolidates investments, insurance policies, bank accounts, property records, and key documents into one secure view. The pitch is simple: when it matters most-a medical emergency, a death, a sudden need for liquidity-the right paperwork and access points are often scattered or lost. Safebox aims to make that information findable and usable for the whole family, not just the person who set it up. The fresh capital will help the company scale its advisory and protection services as Indian households increasingly digitize their wealth.
