The bottleneck in industrial reliability isn't data, it's expert attention. Helsinki-based Rotomate, an AI colleague designed to bridge that gap, has just closed a $2.4M pre-seed funding round. Founded in 2024, the startup aims to make expert-level condition monitoring available everywhere by providing a virtual helper that reads machine signals, validates findings, and delivers prioritized maintenance decisions.
The capital infusion saw participation from a mix of investors including Kvanted, Robin Capital, Accel, Business Finland, Jiri Heinonen, and Moaffak Ahmed. Rotomate currently monitors more than €3 billion worth of annual production, offering analysis teams can actually use, rather than just another alert queue.
