Roleo, a Tallinn-based startup building a personal career agent for tech workers, has raised $3.2M from Practica Capital and Inventure.
The company's tool takes a different approach to job hunting: users tell it what they want - role, salary, team, location - and it monitors the European job market daily, speaking up only when something fits. When a company wants to meet, Roleo handles the introduction and gets the candidate straight to an interview, with no applications or cover letters. Users stay anonymous until they accept, and their current employer is never notified. Roleo says it's already used by thousands of people from top tech companies and has helped arrange nearly a thousand interviews. It was founded by Janer Gorohhov, formerly of Veriff, and Vahur Hansen, formerly of Wise.
