The race to predict how living cells respond to drugs and genetic changes just got a significant boost, with Paris-based Rivercell announcing it has closed a $25.0M Seed funding round. The capital infusion will fuel the company's work on its proprietary data engine and AI model, designed to forecast cellular reactions by training on interventional, time-resolved, multimodal single-cell data produced at scale.
Investors HV, HCVC, Alven, and Bpifrance Digital Venture backed the round, signaling confidence in Rivercell's ambitious goal to build an AI world model of the cell.
