Remepy has raised $36.0M in a Series A round, a bet that the future of certain drug treatments lies in pairing pharmaceuticals with software. The Israeli startup is pushing a concept it calls Hybrid Drugs™-combining traditional medicines with proprietary digital protocols, delivered through its "Digital Molecules™" apps, which use AI to measure and adapt treatment in real time.
The round was backed by a broad syndicate including O.G. Venture Partners, M Ventures, NFX, Vine Ventures, TechAviv, 97212 Ventures, Qumra Capital, Fresh Fund, PsyMed Ventures, Tadmor Group, and IT-Farm Corp. Remepy’s pitch to pharma partners is that these digital add-ons can boost brain neuroplasticity and balance neuro-endocrine and neuro-immunological systems, potentially making existing drugs work better. The company says it will work with drugmakers to bring these hybrid products to market.
