Ratio Therapeutics has secured $70.0M in a Series C round, a sizable infusion for a company working to make cancer treatment more precise. The biotech is focused on targeted radiotherapeutics, a field that pairs radioactive isotopes with molecules designed to home in on tumors.
The company’s pitch centers on its Trillium™ platform, which aims to speed up drug development by testing compounds in small imaging trials early on. That approach, it says, helps pick winners before costly late-stage studies. The fresh capital should give it runway to push its pipeline through the clinic, though specifics on how the money will be deployed weren’t disclosed.
