Radiance Renewables has secured $100.0 million in new funding, marking a significant milestone for the company as it accelerates its growth initiatives. Specialising in comprehensive green solutions tailored for commercial and industrial (C&I) clients, Radiance Renewables is backed by Eversource Capital, which has established the largest single-country sustainable and climate investment fund in the Global South. This substantial capital infusion is set to bolster Radiance Renewables' ambitious strategy to expand its renewable energy capacity across India.
The company is driven by a commitment to sustainability, focusing on the development of large-scale central and state grid-connected solar, wind, wind-solar hybrid, and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. These initiatives are designed to meet the evolving needs of its clientele and support corporate India's transition towards sustainable and eco-friendly power solutions. Radiance Renewables has set a clear goal to expand its capacity to 2 GW over the next two years, a target that this new funding round will directly support.
The $100.0 million in capital will be strategically deployed to accelerate this ambitious expansion trajectory. Specifically, the funds will support the development and implementation of new projects across its diverse portfolio, including solar, wind, hybrid, and BESS technologies. This investment not only provides the necessary resources for growth but also underscores strong investor confidence in Radiance Renewables' business model and the escalating significance of renewable energy infrastructure. It highlights the company's pivotal role in driving the green energy transition within the C&I sector.
With this latest funding, Radiance Renewables is well-positioned to further solidify its market presence and contribute substantially to India's renewable energy targets. The company remains dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable power solutions, aiming to continue its rapid growth and impact in the clean energy landscape, fostering a more sustainable future for corporate India.
