The race to put autonomous trucks on the road just got another significant boost. PlusAI, an artificial intelligence company pioneering virtual driver software for factory-built autonomous trucks, has raised $220.0M in a Series C funding round.
Headquartered in Silicon Valley with operations across the United States and Europe, PlusAI has garnered attention for its AI-based solutions and partnerships with industry giants like TRATON GROUP’s Scania, MAN, and Hyundai Motor Company. The company, named one of the World’s Most Innovative by Fast Company, announced in June 2025 its intention to go public via a merger with Churchill Capital Corp IX.
