A new approach to internet infrastructure, featuring virtual addresses and encrypted tunnels, just got a financial boost. Pilot Protocol, the open-source project behind this vision for a trust model that works across any boundary, has raised $4.5M in seed funding.
The round saw participation from Version One Ventures, Precursor Ventures, and Night Capital, alongside individual investors Lenny Rachitsky and Ben Tossell. Built by Vulture Labs, Pilot Protocol is developing its technology with IETF drafts already submitted, aiming to redefine how agents interact across network boundaries.
