Farmers looking to optimize pesticide and fertilizer use while boosting yields now have more support, as agricultural AI startup PerPlant has closed a $1.2M seed funding round. The company, which develops a cost-effective, plug & play AI-based camera sensor, aims to democratize advanced technology for sustainable farming practices.
The investment round drew backing from a notable group of investors, including the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO), the European Space Agency - ESA, Innovation Fund Denmark, and Antler.
