A company with a four-decade history in 3D automated inline metrology and precision robot guidance, Perceptron, has raised $6.5M from a syndicate of investors. The funding round saw participation from QCP Capital, P2 Ventures, Sigma Capital, Selini Capital, CoinDCX Ventures, Aethir, Walrus Foundation, and Colosseum.
Since 1981, Perceptron has been at the forefront of machine vision development, creating innovative measurement solutions that efficiently address quality issues and reduce process variation. The company, which joined the Atlas Copco Group in 2020, is known for pioneering the first viable, in-process, 100%-dimensional measurement solution capable of thriving in demanding manufacturing environments.
