Surgeons spend hours hunched over operating tables, their necks and backs paying the price for precision work. Pando Surgical, a startup focused on improving surgical ergonomics, has raised $60K in a pre-seed round to tackle that problem head-on.
The funding gives the young company a foothold to develop tools designed to ease the physical strain on medical professionals during procedures. While the investors behind the round weren't disclosed, the capital marks an early vote of confidence in a niche where better equipment could mean healthier surgeons-and, by extension, steadier hands in the OR.
