Pact Labs has raised $7.0M in a Series A round backed by Tether, the stablecoin issuer. The funding marks a notable bet on modernizing the plumbing of cross-border lending.
The company builds an infrastructure platform for global credit markets, letting lenders originate, securitize, and service loans across borders with less cost and greater transparency. Tether’s involvement signals growing interest from crypto-native players in traditional finance rails, though Pact Labs’ pitch is less about blockchain hype and more about squeezing inefficiency out of a system that still runs on patchwork local rules and manual processes.
