The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded a $27.3M grant to Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials Company (PacSci EMC), a provider of pyrotechnic and energetic material devices. The funding comes as PacSci EMC continues its work on integrated systems that operate precisely the moment they are commanded, down to the millisecond.
PacSci EMC's components are critical for hundreds of applications, including aircraft emergency safety systems and sequencing systems for strategic and tactical missiles.
