A $7.0M pre-seed round has just closed for Outro Health, a startup tackling the complex process of safely discontinuing psychiatric medications. The digital health solution, which focuses initially on antidepressants, aims to provide members with the knowledge, resources, and clinical support needed for a sustainable transition to a life free from medication.
The funding round saw participation from a diverse group of investors including Listen Ventures, Cake Ventures, Launch, Actions Capital, Hannah Grey VC, SemperVirens VC, Brock Recovery Group, and Pave Health Ventures. Outro Health's multidisciplinary founding team, which includes healthcare providers and world-leading researchers, is now accepting clients for its neurobiology-based deprescribing approach.
