As open-source software continues to be a prime target for malicious attacks, Ossprey Security has secured $2.6M in pre-seed funding to help teams fortify their defenses. The round saw participation from Episode 1 Ventures, Osney Capital, and Octopus Ventures.
Ossprey's platform is designed to stop malicious open-source packages - from typosquats to hidden payloads - before they ever reach production environments. It offers security leaders and engineers practical guardrails within CI/CD pipelines, enabling them to catch risky dependencies early and make informed decisions about their software supply chain.
