Oshen, the company deploying constellations of rugged ocean robots for wide area, long duration monitoring, has reeled in $4.9M in seed funding to advance its mission. The capital infusion will support the development and deployment of its specialized autonomous systems designed for persistent oversight of marine environments, addressing a critical need for continuous data from vast ocean stretches.
The seed round saw participation from a syndicate of investors including Lunar Ventures, AlbionVC, Twin Track, and Concept Ventures. Their backing signals confidence in Oshen's approach to tackling the complex challenge of continuous ocean surveillance.
