ORCA has raised $7.0M in a Series A round, placing a bet on a simple but costly problem: finance teams often pay invoices before they know whether those payments are actually correct. The company's pitch is that the damage isn't discovered until month-end, when a duplicate charge or a skipped approval becomes a loss you have to explain.
ORCA's software sits before the payment, not after it. It automatically checks each invoice against approvals, delivery records, and compliance requirements, acting as a gate rather than a post-mortem report. For teams running Tally, Zoho Books, or SAP Business One, the tool aims to replace the quarterly email trail hunt with certainty at the moment of payment. The investors backing this round were not disclosed.
