Orbits has raised $2.0M in pre-seed funding to build what it calls an AI-powered operating system for the home. The round was backed by speedrun, N49P, and Garage Capital.
The company's pitch is a familiar one made specific: it pulls information from your various digital surfaces and then acts on it, handling tasks like drafting grocery lists or booking home maintenance. Whether that's a meaningful wedge or just another layer on top of the apps you already ignore is the question the next year will answer.
