The Barcelona-based company is developing point-of-care wearables that measure biomarkers tied to chronic cardiac and respiratory conditions-without the need for blood draws. That means patients, from neonates with congenital heart disease to elderly individuals managing heart failure or asthma, could track deterioration at home rather than in a hospital setting. The funding arrives as the company looks to shift its products from concept toward real-world deployment, though specifics on how the capital will be allocated were not disclosed.
