A new approach to primary care, one that keeps insurance out of routine checkups and chronic condition management, has landed OffPlan $2.5M in Seed capital.
The direct care platform is built on physician-owned practices, offering employers and individuals a fixed-cost model with dedicated primary care physicians, same-day access, and no co-pays or prior authorizations. OffPlan posits that 80% of healthcare doesn't require insurance, allowing doctors to focus on patient care rather than claims.
