Bringing solar-powered energy and water solutions to underserved agricultural communities, Egypt's NoorNation has closed a $1.0M Seed round. The renewable energy startup, which develops tech-enabled decentralized infrastructure made by Africans for Africans, aims to tackle the lack of accessible clean electricity and safe water in remote regions.
Its flagship product, LifeBox, is a self-contained, fast-deployable unit that delivers clean energy and safe water to farming businesses. This addresses critical needs like water pumping for irrigation and desalination in less-served areas across Egypt and Sub-Saharan Africa.
