Nix Biosensors, the Boston-based developer of consumer biosensors for personal health management, has closed a $10.0M Series A funding round. The capital infusion saw participation from Shorewind Capital, Great Oaks Venture Capital, White Road Investments, and individual investors Anne Wojcicki and Len Blavatnik.
The company is redefining how individuals manage their health by providing tools to access, understand, and act on personal biology at home. Its initial product is a hydration biosensor designed to give athletes, soldiers, and laborers real-time data to optimize safety and performance. Nix is led by Founder and CEO Meridith Cass, a Harvard Business School graduate, former VC, and 9-time marathoner.
