Saudi fintech NAYLA | نايلة has raised $17.9M in a pre-seed round, a hefty early-stage bet on Sharia-compliant lending for the kingdom’s smallest businesses. Idrisi Ventures, Suhail Ventures, and Blominvest led the financing.
The Riyadh-based company, licensed by the Saudi Central Bank, offers micro-enterprises and freelancers financing up to 200,000 Saudi riyals without collateral or paper-based processes, leaning on fast digital approvals. The round stands out for its size at the pre-seed stage, signaling investor appetite for niche lending infrastructure as Saudi Arabia pushes to expand its small-business base.
