NavalX Mid-Atlantic Tech Bridge Fuels Innovation: $10K Boost for Next-Gen Tech Solutions

We are thrilled to announce that NavalX Mid-Atlantic Tech Bridge (MATB) has successfully raised $10,000 in our latest funding round—a significant milestone that underscores our mission to connect warfighters with agile technology solutions and advance naval innovation.

MATB, spearheaded by three esteemed Hampton Roads Naval Commands—the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic Hampton Roads Detachment, the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Dahlgren Division Dam Neck Activity, and NSWC Carderock Division Norfolk Detachment—is dedicated to developing cutting-edge technologies that support our country’s defense capabilities.

As a proud affiliate of NavalX, MATB collaborates with 17 other Tech Bridges, leveraging our collective expertise to drive innovation across a wide range of focus areas from Advanced Manufacturing and Autonomy & Unmanned Systems to Cyber Technologies, Command & Control, and more.

This newly secured funding will be instrumental in accelerating our research and development efforts, allowing us to further expand our initiatives which address critical needs in areas like Biological Technologies, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Sensors, Ship Design & Optimization, Warfighter Performance & Readiness, and Wireless Communications.

Beyond fueling technical exploration, a portion of the funds will support collaborative events hosted at our off-base office in Assembly Norfolk, fostering a space where industry experts, researchers, and warfighters can converge to discuss transformative ideas and build lasting partnerships.
