The quest to deliver genetic medicines precisely where they're needed most just got a significant boost. Nava Therapeutics, a company engineering a modular LNP platform for selective tissue targeting, has closed an $89.0M Seed funding round.
This substantial early-stage capital will fuel Nava's work on its proprietary platform, which aims to overcome the challenge of safely and precisely delivering RNA to historically hard-to-reach tissues. The company is currently translating its technology into a robust pipeline, including in vivo CAR-T therapies for autoimmune disease and RNA treatments for chronic kidney disease.
