National Youth Choir Achieves Groundbreaking Funding Milestone to Support Talent and Innovation in Choral Singing

The National Youth Choir is thrilled to announce a significant funding achievement, successfully raising £318,276 to further our mission of inspiring the next generation of choral talent across the UK.

With over 1,000 enthusiastic members aged 9-25, we believe passionately in the transformative power of music, which is why every penny of this funding will be dedicated to enhancing our choir programs and outreach initiatives.

This commitment enables us to continue our inspirational residential courses, offering members a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of singing and making beautiful music together.

Moreover, the funding will bolster our essential training programs for Emerging Professional Artists, including our Fellowship, Young Conductor, and Young Composer Programmes.

By nurturing young leaders in choral music, we’re cultivating the future composers, conductors, and singers who will shape the musical landscape for decades to come.

As a registered charity, we firmly stand by our belief that finance should never be a barrier to participation in the life-changing experience of communal singing.
