A $12.0M Seed funding round has closed for Nanoco Technologies Ltd, the UK-based nanotechnology company specializing in quantum dots and advanced nanomaterials. The investment saw participation from Valley Capital Partners, Docker, Vercel, Monday.com, Slow Ventures, and Clem Delangue.
Founded in 2001 as a spin-out from the University of Manchester, Nanoco develops cadmium-free materials like its infrared-absorbing HEATWAVE® QDs and visible light-emitting CFQD® QDs. These materials are applied across image sensing, displays, photovoltaics, and lighting, serving global customers in the semiconductor and display industries.
