The escalating threat of herbicide-resistant weeds to global food security has drawn significant new capital to Moa Technology, the agricultural biotech firm spun out of Oxford University. The company has closed a Series c funding round, securing $29.8M to advance its next-generation weed control solutions.
This latest investment round saw participation from a diverse group of backers including OSE, Supernova Invest, Agri Investment Fund (AIF), and GrainInnovate. Also joining were institutional investors like Magdalen College, University of Oxford, Lansdowne Partners, Parkwalk, and Oxford University Innovation, signaling strong confidence in Moa's mission to protect farmers' harvests.
