A $4.9M seed round is now backing Mimark Diagnostics, a company working to replace painful, invasive gynecological diagnostic procedures with a simpler fluid-based test. The funding will support the development of its protein-based diagnostic platform, which aims to detect conditions like endometrial cancer and endometriosis from a minimally invasive sample.
The company’s approach targets a long-standing gap in women’s health, where diagnostic tools have often lagged in both accuracy and patient comfort. Mimark’s pipeline includes two lead candidates, GyLDEC and GyLDENDO, and its platform standardizes how gynecological fluid samples are handled in clinical labs. The round’s investors were not disclosed.
