Outpatient clinics are drowning in pre-visit paperwork, and MiiHealth AI has raised $2.8M in seed funding to automate the intake process with conversational AI agents that do the repetitive questioning before a clinician ever walks in the room.
The company’s platform, Mediiflow, pairs with a voice-based AI named DAINA that chats with patients in their native language, collecting symptoms, medication lists, and medical history in real time. It then generates a structured clinical note for the provider, aiming to claw back some of the 45% of clinician time currently spent on administrative tasks-roughly 120 minutes per provider per day, per the company’s estimates. The round’s investors were not disclosed.
