MidPen Housing Secures $162.9M Funding Boost to Expand Affordable Living Across Northern California

MidPen Housing is proud to announce the successful raising of $162,900,000 in our latest funding round—a significant milestone that marks a new chapter in our ongoing effort to expand and enhance affordable housing throughout Northern California.

Established in 1970, MidPen Housing has been at the forefront of nonprofit development by creating more than 130 communities comprising over 9,000 affordable homes.

This extraordinary achievement is a testament to our enduring commitment to ensuring that families and individuals have access to secure, quality housing, no matter their income level.

The funds raised will be strategically deployed to further our mission of developing, owning, and managing affordable housing, while also expanding the vital support services provided through MidPen Resident Services Corp.

Our comprehensive onsite programs and services are designed to help residents improve every aspect of their lives, from financial stability and career growth to overall well-being, thus fostering stronger, more resilient communities.

With a prominent presence in Foster City, Oakland, Union City, Santa Rosa, and Watsonville, and operations spanning 12 counties across Northern California, this infusion of capital will empower us to innovate, renovate, and reach new areas.
