MFast has raised $6.0M in a Series A round, a fresh infusion of capital for the Vietnamese startup that runs a tech-enabled agent banking network aimed at bringing financial services to the country's underserved populations.
The round draws backing from a mix of regional and global investors, including Wavemaker Partners, Headline Asia, Finnoventure Fund I, DO VENTURES, JAFCO Asia, and Ascend Vietnam Ventures. MFast's model leans on a network of local agents to simplify the sales process for financial products, positioning itself as a bridge between traditional institutions and the unbanked. The company says its longer-term ambition is to become an all-in-one agent banking platform across emerging Southeast Asia.
