Metriport has raised $26.0M in a Series A round backed by Matrix, as the open-source healthcare data platform looks to scale its real-time medical record infrastructure.
The San Francisco-based company, founded in 2022, already processes 4.2 billion network requests a month, pulling scattered patient data from across national health information exchanges, EHRs, labs, and pharmacies into a single structured format. Its platform serves clinicians with longitudinal records in under 15 seconds, and adds ambient monitoring to flag patient movement in real time. Customers include Amazon One Medical, Strive Health, and Color. With the fresh capital, Metriport is positioned to deepen its reach across the 340 million individuals it says it can access, though the company hasn't detailed specific expansion plans.
