Bridging the gap between virtual wardrobes and real-world closets, Meta Fashion has secured $400K in pre-seed funding from Lumikai. The startup operates a "phygital" fashion platform that converts popular in-game styles into physical products, leveraging its experience with over 2.5 million virtual fashion sales and recognition from Roblox.
Its flagship product, Glam Girls, is a fashion-first Roblox experience currently in beta with more than 80,000 paid, organic users. Meta Fashion identifies winning digital fashion trends, manufactures physical versions via India's network, and sells globally through in-game checkout and direct-to-consumer channels, operating at the intersection of gaming, fashion, and next-generation commerce.
