Patients could soon have more control over their medical records, thanks to Meddy Health Co., which just secured $2.5M in Series A funding. The company, launched at the Founder Institute in 2018, is building a cloud-based electronic medical record (EMR) platform designed to put health data directly into patient hands.
Meddy's platform allows individuals to access their health records anywhere, anytime, and grant doctors access as they wish. This approach aims to foster transparency in the health marketplace, enabling collaboration among physicians regardless of their hospital affiliation while ensuring patients own their sensitive health information.
