Matillion, the company behind the AI Data Automation platform Maia, has secured $150.0M in Series e funding. The capital infusion comes as the company continues to develop its platform, which was introduced in 2025 to help data teams build data products without limits.
Maia's core consists of tightly integrated components, including Maia Team, which provides AI agents to handle repetitive data work, and Maia Context Engine, designed to capture business rules and institutional knowledge. The platform also features Maia Foundation, an enterprise backbone ensuring security, governance, and scalability, all aimed at freeing data teams from maintenance to focus on higher-value outcomes.
